UAE e-invoicing deadlines: verify your category.

A source-first guide to provider appointment and implementation planning.

Appointment and implementation are different milestones

The official MoF amendment published on 10 May 2026 extended the provider-appointment deadline to 30 October 2026 for the relevant AED 50 million revenue category. Appointment is a contracting/onboarding milestone; it is not the same as proving your production integration works.

Check the governing decision before acting

The MoF portal includes later decisions and programme material. Use the current legal text to confirm thresholds, exclusions and implementation dates for your entity. Do not rely on a forwarded chart or a marketing countdown alone.

What to do now

Confirm your category, nominate finance and IT owners, verify the selected provider’s current listing and agree the invoice-data/testing plan. If your deadline is close, discuss your actual position with the provider and professional advisor; we do not guarantee retrospective compliance.

How this page is maintained

Last editorial source check: 26 October 2026. We recheck official material before deadline-led campaigns. A date-dependent claim should identify its audience and source, and be updated if a later decision changes it.
