The short answer
Peppol is the interoperability framework used in the UAE e-invoicing model; PINT AE is the UAE invoice specification/profile referenced by the programme. Your team needs structured data that meets the current applicable rules and a tested provider exchange route.
Why does structured data matter?
A PDF is a visual document. Structured invoice data lets systems interpret seller/buyer identities, lines, tax categories and totals consistently. The integration must handle validation and status feedback, not just generate a file.
Understand the five-corner idea
The programme describes a supplier, its provider, the buyer’s provider, the buyer and the authority reporting role. Use the MoF’s current diagrams and specifications for the definitive model and your provider’s API documentation for the actual interface.
Developer preparation
Identify required fields, versioned schemas, test cases, correction references and duplicate protection. Ask the provider about sandbox access, callbacks, validation updates and operational failures before choosing an integration pattern.
